Despite it's name, Death Valley is a place of astonishing beauty - stark beauty no doubt but beauty nonetheless. There is little color so the area lends itself to my favorite medium of monochrome.

There are a number of famous sites such as Zabriskie Point and Dante's View as well as Mesquite Flats Dunes and Eureka Dunes. I am also partial to the scenery in Twenty Mule Team Canyon.
